- Foot bath with C/O GERD lavender salt cool scrub or rosemary body shower.
- Foot file - file your heels soft and nice.
- Nail care – cut your nails carefully straight across so you don't get ingrown toenails.
- Lubricate – lubricate after showering with C/O GERD foot cream with peppermint . At night, make a wrap with 24/7 balm , lubricate your feet generously with the balm, and put on a pair of thin cotton socks.
- Nail polish – a little color on your toenails brightens things up.
-Don't forget to exfoliate and lubricate your lower legs.
You are ready!
I also think it's important to "work out" your feet regularly, preferably daily. And I don't mean what we always do - walking and standing. When I do yoga, I find that my feet usually get a workout too. They soften, stretch and gain strength.
- Toe raises
- Rolling your ankles to soften them can be done when you wake up and are still in bed.
- Roll a tennis ball under your foot.
- If you have smaller balls or marbles, practice lifting them up with your toes.
- Massage your feet and toes every evening.
- Buy a small rolling pin with nuggets running under your feet.
- Stand on one leg, concentrating on having your entire foot, toes, heel and forefoot firmly on the floor.
Take care of your feet this summer, walk barefoot, wiggle your toes, massage, stand on one leg, jump and stretch. Have a coffee break or a glass of rosé with your best friends in the garden and bathe your feet. If you have access to marigolds or roses, take some of the flowers and put them in the foot bath. There you can sit and socialize and feel good together.
Then I think you should treat yourself to going to a really good podiatrist. It's an investment for you and your feet. And it's wonderfully nice and relaxing. Remember that it's your feet that will carry you through life.
