The basis for an overnight oat is simple with oatmeal and milk and the possibilities for variations are many. One of our favorites is with apple and cinnamon.
1 cup oatmeal
2 dl lactose-free milk
1 apple, cut into pieces
1/2 cup granola
honey
cinnamon
maybe almonds
Mix 1 dl of oatmeal and 2 dl of milk in a jar or glass. Leave in the refrigerator overnight. Cut 1 apple into pieces and top the oat mixture. Serve with crunchy granola mixed with a little cinnamon and honey. Top with a handful of almonds, nuts, grated coconut, sliced banana or fresh berries.
