The berries contain antioxidants, vitamin E and beneficial essential fatty acids that are skin-nourishing and are said to boost collagen production. Many of our products contain beneficial blueberry seed oil from wild blueberries growing in Lapland.
Studies have shown that the Arctic blueberry has several times higher levels of
benefits than their siblings further down in the country. The reason is that plants that grow up in the north go from dormancy to summer in a short time. The sun is high in the sky 24 hours a day, which means that all herbs, trees and berries grow 24 hours a day.
Blueberries also have an antibacterial effect on the stomach, counteracting harmful intestinal bacteria and reducing the risk of inflammation. The best way to start the day must therefore be with a blueberry boost both on the outside and inside.
Blueberry boost for two:
3 dl natural yogurt
3 tbsp high-fiber oatmeal
2 cups frozen blueberries
1 ripe banana
Blend all ingredients in a blender for a few seconds. Serve immediately!
